KEN PRUE PRESENTS
LENNI STEWART JAZZ TRIO

NOVEMBER 10 • 7:30pm

'Songbird' Lenni Stewart and her bandmates, Howard Baer and Michael Monis return to The Loft for the third time to perform a musical revue that conjures magical musical memories of the two World Wars. Harry Burr, The Andrews Sisters, Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Vera Lynn. These are some of the artists that sang the songs that kept troop spirits up in the trenches and kept the home fires burning. These songs defined the lives of our parents and grandparents. Lenni sings the songs in this show in remembrance and honour of all those who fought on the front and all of their loved ones who supported the war effort back home. These songs were sang in pubs all over the allied world. They were the songs that gave people hope and made it possible to carry on, and even fall in love again ... despite the darkness of those days. This show will warm your heart. You'll find yourself singing along. Resistance is futile.

Tickets are $25 + service charge at Vic Hall Box Office 905-372-2210.
Event will be held at The Loft • 201 Division Street, Cobourg
